Guanaco and Chulengo

Guanacos are the most abundant large wild mammals of Patagonia. They are camelids, relatives of domesticated llamas. I found this mother and chulengo (young) in Torres del Paine National Park and used a 400mmm lens to photograph them against a snow-speckled mountain backdrop.
