In this evening of landscape astrophotography, I show how to use an ordinary digital camera to make stunning images of stars, planets, earth's moon and the Milky Way, as well as more elusive astronomical phenomena such as meteors and comets. I recount travels in the arctic in search of the aurora borealis and across four continents to photograph total solar eclipses. more
